Some digital signage widget companies like Walls.io and Feedwind allow the user to export their Social media widget designs from the application and into an HTML "Iframe". This iframe contains the HTML code version of their design and can be used for embedding on a website.
This same "Iframe" HTML code can also be used in digitalSignage.NET with a page design or as a single piece of media in a Playlist.
Here is an example of HTML code in an Iframe format from Walls.io
<iframe allowfullscreen id="wallsio-iframe" src="https://my.walls.io/m67tea?show_header=0" style="border:0;height:800px;width:100%" loading="lazy" title="digital signage"></iframe>
This outputted Iframe code will need to be saved as an . HTML extension in order to be used in digitalsignage>NET. This can be done in a number of ways, but for those that are not aware two examples are provided below
Step 1
Open the Start Screen (the window symbol at the bottom left on your screen). Type Notepad.
Windows 8 or later:
Open the Start Screen (the window symbol at the bottom left on your screen). Type Notepad.
Windows 7 or earlier:
Open Start > Programs > Accessories > Notepad
Open Finder > Applications > TextEdit
Also change some preferences to get the application to save files correctly. In Preferences > Format > choose "Plain Text"
Then under "Open and Save", check the box that says "Display HTML files as HTML code instead of formatted text".
Then open a new document to place the code.
Step 2.
Copy the Iframe text and paste it into the text program window.
Step 3.
Save the file to your desktop, but change the file extension name from .txt to .html. If you are unable to do this immediately you can always save the file as a .txt and change it once you have saved it to your desktop.
Any text-based program editor should be able to do this.

Once you have the file saved, upload this to your Media section in digitalsignage.NET and use this as media in a Playlist or as an Asset in the Layout Designer
